Complete Arcane has the following Rule on Page 72. -

A requirement based on a specific spell measures wether the character or creature in question is capable of producing the necessary effect, and as such, invocations and the spell-like abilities that generate the relevant effect meet the requirements for specific spell knowledge. For example, a prestige class with a spellcasting requirement of "Must Know (or be able to cast) darkness" is met by a warlock who chooses Darkness as one of her invocations, or by any creature with darkness as a spell-like ability.

Is this rule in effect for LG? Can a Warmage use the Spell Hand feat to help become an Arcane Trickster, or Insightful to help become an Unseen Seer?

I know that it should work for a regular home game if the DM allows, but I couldn't find anything about a Circle position on this one.

It's a core rules question so the circle won't answer it.

Spell hand will satisfy the need for mage hand (you still need the arcane casting and the skills, etc). However Insightful will not give you a requirement for Unseen Seer.

Ah, since it was not in the core books, I thought it was questionable as to wether it would be included in the LG rule Set without specific mention.

It is indeed questionable.

As a rule in a non-"core" book it is up to GM discretion whether to use it: not a wise thing to build a character around.

This situation will probably remain the case at elast until the next LGCS but it wouldn't be a bad idea to raise it then.
