As someone who's been doing this for a couple of years now: expect table variation, but the spell does have "target: wooden weapon touched". My experience has been that after the Spell Compendium revision, the majority of judges let you affect both heads of a staff with a single casting, but there are still some tables where it doesn't work. |
| Ki Ryn10-11-06, 08:27 AM | What is the new duration? |
| Iswald10-11-06, 09:33 AM | 1 round/level. |
| copper_wyrmling10-12-06, 01:12 AM | 1 round/level. Brambles is probably a more worthwhile spell than Spikes, now, given their relative levels: Spikes gives an extra +1 to hit and doubles the threat range of your weapon, but neither of them stack with Greater Magic Weapon. My cleric is still rather fond of her Quickened Brambles though. |
