Status of New Core plot arc ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

We are just anxiously awaiting its release so we can plan for the release of the 1st module in about 3 months.

And unless they change it you play the same character all the way through.

Until when? Presumably as this was a public announcement there's no difficulty in taking off the circle hat and repeating what Creighton said?

What's the status on Scourge of the Howling Horde adaptation?

We've got a new LG player who is in Red Hand of Doom and we're basically waiting on either of those to get him a second character. There's some mods we can play, but we burned through most of the year 6s low apl mods to get him there in the first place.

I believe the original statement was that it had to be played by a 1st-level PC, but that it didn't necessarily have to be that PC's first module. But, I could be mistaken.

As said in the article, the arc is open to only new characters and it seems to talk about having enough mods in the Domain of Greyhawk for the characters to reach level 8 barring incidents.

It almost sounds like you can't play the character outside of the Domain of Greyhawk, like in other Core mods... Or am I just being an ass and reading too much into the words...
