Jay_Ibero_911 11-28-06, 09:40 PM	Few questions on the Wild Feat, Stone Form from Races of Stone. I currently have a druid with the feat, and have become curious as to certain qualities of the feat itself, and it's interaction with the Warshaper/Nature's Warrior PrC abities. 1) Does equipment meld when using the Stone Form feat, or does your physical body just change and your equipment remain the same? It would seem silly to ask for any other wild feat, but this one seems to involve more change than most others... 2) Since Stone Form does not specify a duration itself, should it be assumed that it has the standard Wild Shape duration of 1 hour per level? 3) Does using the Stone Form feat qualify as being in an alternate form for the purposes of gaining the benefits of the Warshaper and Nature's Warrior PrC's? Nature's Warrior specifies that the benefits are only applicable while in Wild Shape form, so is Stone Form considered a Wild Shape form? Warshaper is more vague, just requiring a form "other than your own", which I think Stone Form could certainly qualify for... Hope I didn't break D&D again...
Arvagor 11-28-06, 09:53 PM	1) Since LG's wildshape still keys off polymorph, and therefore alter self, then equipment "remains worn or held by the new form (if it is capable of wearing or holding the item)". IMO, Stone Form doesn't turn you into a big pile of rocks; I see it more like a literal version of stoneskin, so I'd say you can keep wearing your equipment. 2) Yes 3) DM's call. IMO, yes to both, but some DMs might say "yes" to Warshaper but no to Nature's Warrior...

Britt 11-28-06, 11:27 PM	Sorry, there's no such thing as a Triad or Circle ruling for things like this. If something needs a clarification or ruling specifically for the campaign, we will, but otherwise it's up to the judges.

Dispel Confusion, along with the Living Greyhawk Campaign Sourcebook, will provide you with answers to questions specific to the Living Greyhawk campaign, but not the Dungeons & Dragons game rules. The interpretation of a rule given through the Knowledge Base is considered a guideline for play.
