Synergy Enhancements and Crafting [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-03-07, 08:58 AM Assume that I somehow gain access to a +1 breastplate with greater stamina (MIC pg 15), a synergy enhancement with two synergy prereqs. (Note that I've never seen access to greater stamina or expect to have any.) In order to craft a suit of armor with greater stamina, would I have to first gain access to stamina and improved stamina? Or, is it safe to assume that since the armor has to already have those two enhancements before it can have greater stamina added, I can simply go ahead and put greater stamina on a suit of armor?

Guessing, without seeing the book, I'd say you first need access. If you gain access to a feat with prequisites, I don't think you gain access to all the prequisites, so the same should apply to enhancements.

05-03-07, 06:48 PM The issue here is that You can't have a Greater Stamina item that isn't also a Stamina Item. I'd say that if you find a Greater Stamina Item you have access a Stamina Item too (and the AR should say so).

In any case: contact the people who issued the AR that gave you access.
