OK, now that I've stopped laughing, back to answering your query.

Though the wording of Transdimensional Spell was poorly chosen in regard to your question, it seems clear that they intended to apply it only to spells with a target. You couldn't cast - for instance - a transdimensional invisibility or a transdimensional Tenser's floating disk (what would be the point?)

Quoting the second paragraph of the Benefits section:

You must be able to perceive a creature to target it with a transdimensional spell, but you do not need to perceive a creature to catch it in the area of a burts, cone, emanation, or spread.

Seems clear they're talking about an attack-type spell (although I'll grant you it would also work for most detection-type spells), at least IMHO.

02-28-06, 12:24 PM There's actualy ALOT of ambiguity in BOTH definitions of Transdimensional Spell, and two interpetations.

(ONe being it's all planes simultaniously, the other is one plane at a time + dimensional spaces(bags of holding and the like))

I was under the impression that the text is there to clarify how a transdimensional spell would work if it were a blast and/or targetted.

edit - for the record, that's transdimensional buffalo from space.
