04-21-07, 02:00 PM Do I have to have access to "flaming" to have my weapon upgraded with that? or is that part of the standard upgrades available?

04-21-07, 07:31 PM You need to have access. You can upgrade a weapon to +1, +2, +3, +4 or +5 as part of standard access, though.

04-21-07, 10:16 PM As a side note to this; if you find access to a +1 Flaming Longsword and your weapon is already a +2 longsword, you can't upgrade it to flaming (as it is not the "standard" item you got access to).

However, you can upgrade that +1 flaming longsword to a +4 flaming longsword afterwards, as there is no restriction on upgrading the bonus.
