i'm going to word this the best way possible, i have 2 warmages that i'am currently running in games ad i have come across issues pertaining to spells and wands and scrolls.

1st: if a warmage is able to craft wands i know he can only craft wands that are on his spell list but can he craft wands that include his edge in the wand.

2nd: scrolls same question as above.

3rd: i have access to learn new spells from ar's that i have acquired while gaming, do i get to learn these as a normal spellcaster, or do i have to wait till i can get the advanced learning that warmages get in order to learn them.

1) No
2) No
3) No.
You can only learn spells that are on your spell list.
Warmages already know all the spells on their spelllist.
Advanced learning will work but only if the spells meet the requirements.

1) No, a warmage cannot put his edge into any magical item. Staves, due to the fact they can use the user's level and feats when activated allows a warmage to have the edge when a warmage uses it, but even a warmage with craft staffcan't imbue his edge into a staff

2) Scrolls is specifically stated in the Warmage Edgedescription as a NO

3)You do not get to learn the spells as normal. You have to wait for your Advanced learning levels to pick a new spell (and one that is Evocation only). So if the access is adventure or one-off, you're basically getting the short end of the stick...

Warmages can do well with UMD. Good charisma and synergy should make you acceptible by 7th level or so.

You can even get it as a class skill if you go wild mage.

I think his next question will be about crafting a wand with a matamagic feat included.

And I do believe that if he comes across a valid spell that he could learn from Advanced Learning that he could retrain from the old spell he chose to the new one.

It's explicily spelled out in the PHB that you can have wands with Metamagic.

You can indeed retrain your choice of Advanced Learning spells.

I'm sure the OP already knew these ;)
