Also what about weapon mastery ray ? Is that a legitimate choice ?

08-03-07, 04:49 AM According to the Compete Arcane on Weaponlike spells, Orbs are indeed treated as a ray as the Weapon Focus (Ray) is actually Weapon Focus (Ranged Spell) therefore, there Orb are in the same group as rays.

There is also a Ranged Spell Specialization that require CL 4 (instead of Fighter 4) that do pretty much the same thing as Weapon spec

Yes, weapon focus ranged spells would work orbs. In essence its going to work with anything requiring a ranged attack roll in the spell.

There is no weapon mastery ray that I am awear off. Ranged Weapon (as does melee) Mastery requires you to have WF/WS with a piercing, slashing, or bludgeoning weapon and I don't think you will get that to work out no matter how you look at it.

08-04-07, 04:11 PM The only spell that comes to mind its Telekinesis.. buff your arrow(ammunition).. then use telekinesis to launch them at your enemies..

spiritual weapon does (b/p/s) damage (depending on the weapon of your diety).. I think?
