I was looking at Drift Magic and was curious about what this meant as a pre-requisite. I don't know what Knowledge (local wasteland region) means. Makes me think Knowledge (nature), (geography, wasteland), or maybe something else is needed.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say Knowledge (local-core), for this. I don't have my books near me to look up the feat, but based on the requirement of Knowledge (local wasteland region) this would make sense.

The feat probably gives a generic term like 'local wasteland region' because Knowledge (local) is only supposed to cover a certain area and doesn't know what each GM calls their 'local wasteland region'. The Bright Desert is LG's 'local wasteland region' and is covered under Knowledge (local-core).

This feat is out of Sandstorm, correct?

Drift Magic is a limited feat, therefore you must have access to it. If you've gotten the access from a regional AR, contact that region's triad. If you got it from a Core, hopefully a Circle member may come on and answer it, although I think that knowledge local: Core is a good bet.

Red Knight of Ket is quite correct.

It's a Core feat for Bright Sands characters. If that's where the PC is getting the feat, I would assume you use the appropriate Knowledge (Local) skill for the Bright Sands - is that still Knowledge (Local) (Core)?
