| clannagh11-20-06, 01:21 AM | I wish to confirm I have this correct. Let us assume you are a human druid. My understanding is that when you wildshape in the RPGA version you: - keep your own BAB - keep your base hit points before con is added - keep your INT WISDOM and CHARISMA - keep your base saves - keep skill ranks applicable to new form - acquire the animals STR - acquire the animals DEX - acquire the animals CON and use this new con as your HP modifier - acquire the animals type and subtype - acquires any extraordinary special attacks of the form - does not get extraordinary qualities - does not get supernatural or spell like abilities - cannot cast without a special feat - clothing is absorbed into the new form - you lose the benefit of amor unless it is"wild" - you retain the benefit of other magical items Is this correct ? have I missed anythign important ? |

Upon changing, the subject regains lost hit points as if it had rested for a night. and The subject gains the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores of the new form but retains its own Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. It also gains all extraordinary special attacks possessed by the form but does not gain the extraordinary special qualities possessed by the new form or any supernatural or spell-like abilities. ciao again martin m. ps: and always make sure to look up an old version of the srd, as the new "errataed" or better "toally silly nerfed to uselessness" version is a pain in a specific anatomic part of the human body :D |
| _m_11-20-06, 08:37 PM | now.... compare it to polymorph. |
| Cynric11-21-06, 03:59 AM | What it means really for druids is all you really want is access to wild, if you want to tank, and periapt of Wis if you want to cast. So you can have a really nice pot of gold waiting for those nice Ioun stones to appear. |
