| the_old_noob09-20-06, 02:46 PM | So I have just gotten involved with LG, having stopped doing anything Greyhawk related since around 1988. I downloaded all the stuff I need and went to generate a character. Alas, the only character record sheet I can find has to be printed and then filled in by hand. Hello, people... this is the 21st century. Adobe Acrobat allows for forms! This way you can type in the info in the appropriate fields without changing the rest of the things. For people, like me, with atrocious handwriting, this would be a life saver. Otherwise I will have to explain everything to DMs each time I go to play a character. So my question is: has anyone made a character sheet that allows you to type information into it before printing? If so, how do I get it? |
| TWG_Prometheus09-20-06, 03:33 PM | Nyrond.org's downloads section has a 3.0 fillable (but sadly not savable) version. I don't know one for 3.5, which doesn't help you much. I'd like one too. |

It not only produces a spiffy PC sheet, but it'll help you advance & track your PC(s). It looks like they just came out with a new version (4.11). http://www.nzcomputers.net/heroforge/ |

Two of them require the full acrobat version to be able to save the file, though you can always fill it out and print it up immediately. You can find them at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Living_Greyhawk/files/%23Character%20Sheets/ Players are remarkably generous about sharing their talents with the rest of us - or maybe they've just seen the illegible writing of some players and are doing their part to avoid confusion. I keep getting a screen which says the domain name registration is past payment. |

The one huge feature it has that HeroForge seems to be lacking is the ability to enter in all of your classes, stat bumps, skill points, feats and so on and then change your level in one place. So you can plan out your entire character and when you level just bump the level in one place. Biota |
