I now understand that camels are not valid animal companions for Druids in Bright Lands. Another questionable companion is the Tressym from Forgotten Realms Campaign that's mentioned as a possible animal companion that is likely not allowed in Bright Lands.

Here are some other questions:

Are there any others not allowed? And have any been added to the list of possibilities for (SS)Druids that aren't listed in that book to make up for the loss of Camels, et el?

Do (SS)Druids default to Summon Desert Allies instead of Summon Natures Allies?

Is Shapesand molded as Armor (specifically as a breastplate) wearable by a druid since it's medium armor without metal? And can it me molded as Masterwork versions of that armor? And can it be molded into Shapesand barding when a druid assumes a wildshape. Also, can radiator fins be made of something besides metal?

I'm sure I'll have more questions, but these are a few that apply to things for my particular character and planning his progression.

The main source of information for answering your questions will be the Blight on Bright Sands Campaign Sourcebook. If you are a SandStorm Druid, whatever is stated in that sourcebook is true for you as well. Also, whatever is listed for the Druid in Sandstorm is what you have to follow.

Shape-SAND Molded armor... No metal, but there's plenty of sand. :)

If you can control the Shapesand, and there's a large enough quantity, then there's no reason you can't have it change into barding form. There's many ways to do it, so find one that works for you.

Radiator fins, if I'm not mistaken, are not actually armor, just an addition. So technically, Druids could use them. However, some people could also use that same line of reasoning to argue the use of studded leather. Until a Circle member rules, it'll be up to the DM if he'll allow it or not.
