"...handed one to every Player."

I am speaking of the little nifty cards like 'Wink And A Smile' - they are about 3"x8" and grant all sorts of nifty little tricks.

My questions are, how does one get a stack of like 20 (I swear this guy had a truckload!)? if you have a truckload, can you just hand them out to everyone? is there a maximum that you can carry to hand out?

You get more Player Reward Cards the more you play (or have played). When they were originally sent out, players got them for past "levels" of RPGA experience. So people who were in the RPGA since the beginning and played countless mods before LG even started got a lot of cards.

There is no limit on the number a player can own. Heck, you can buy them on Ebay. There is a limit on the number that you can use per character in LG, based on character level.

Level 1-4 = One Card
Level 5-8 = Two Cards
Level 9-12 = Three Cards
Level 13-16 = Four Cards
Level 17+ = Five Cards

It is great that someone is willing to share with those who don't have them. At the tables I've judged, it is a good sign that the table is willing to work together.

I have to agree with Shawn. It is great when players share the cards with others at thier table. And, I think its great when players share the resources of their characters at tables.

I got into the habit of asking others at tables I play in if items on my MIL might be of more use to them than they are to my character, for party survival. Something I picked up from Living Arcanis where large numbers of certed items can be obtained by characters who have no real use for them.

He may have gotten all of his cards the same way I've gotten all of my cards. I run homegames for my family. I will play a mod, sometimes with my wife, and then I will run it for my kids and a few of their friends. All the cards come to my place when the mailings come out. I handed them out to their owners, but they gave me all the duplicates, so I have 5 Wink and a Smile, Hero's Strike, and Arcane Influx. I've got 4 I've Got That! and one or two of each of the non-promotional ones, plus I just got the new "Mark of Heroes" set for my wife's RPGA #, but not mine for some reason.

I know not everyone can do what I do, but it helps to have a family that games together. :D

Since someone already asked... would you be willing to trade or sell one of the Arcane Influxs?

Crossing fingers... :)

I normally use them to hand out to people at the gamedays and homegames around here, and since they're not technically mine, I'll have to ask if anyone is willing to part with theirs.

I know at least one Arcane Influx is off the market because it is my wife's and she plays a Spellsword. She regularly uses that one for the Maximized Fireball she drops on the BBEG after I've cast Entangle on him. I also know that at least one Hero's Strike and one Wink and a Smile are too, since I regularly use them in games.

When I use Wink and a Smile I get + 10 to bluff on humans, even though I have no bluff ranks, so it works out well for me.

Other than those issues, I'll see what I can do.

Oroborous, thanks. My primary PC is going Spellsword also, so that's why I want one. I really appreciate you asking your gamers. If they're interested, I have several Mark of Heroes (Eberron) reward cards I'd be willing to trade since they can't be used in LG. That's all I play. <shrug>

You might want to hold on to those Eberron cards.

LGCS 4 says you can use numbers 5, 6, 8 and 9.

I think they represent: Blessed Relief, Missed Me, Extra Deflection and the Sneak attack card. (not in right order)

All options involving action points are ignored.

I've got some bad news for those of you that were asking for cards. I've just moved and it looks like most of my collection has gone AWOL. I know my wife didn't toss em, so the only other explanation is that they're still at my old place. I'll have to go back over there and see if they turn up.

In the mean time, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

LOL...

I think the cards are trying to escape. I'm not laughing at you. Please don't take offense. I'm just seeing humor in the situation. I really do appreciate you keeping us card-less people in mind. Thank you. :)

I wanted the Influx card and was about to buy one on eBay. A friend stopped me, saying he could get it for me. I didn't want to wait and knew the friend, although a great guy, could be flaky. He insisted, so I waited. And waited. And waited. Oh, he got the card. But he lost it. It just disappeared. He has no idea what happened to it. I couldn't find another on eBay and got the one I have by asking another one of our friends, who arranged on the spot for one to be put in my hand that very evening, just for asking for it.

There's always that one thing that gets missplaced during moves. Hopefully you'll come across them and have to say "Why did I pack them in there???" I hope your cards turn up!

PS - I just made Spellsword too. :)
