I planned on doing some Living Greyhawk last year, but er, work, you know?

Anyways, I know I'm in Keoland . . . but I forget everything else!

Aren't I supposed to contact a regional triad and order some intro-level kits or something or other for a group just starting out? 1st level characters and everything . . .

So:

1. Who do I contact? Is there a webpage for them?

2. I seem to recall there was a webpage, but it was pretty outdated.

3. I have RPGA cards for membership signups, plus my own card. Do I need anything else?

4. What do I send in after each session? It's been so long since I read the original paperwork . . .

Plus, are there any helpful resources for PCs? I have the Living Greyhawk Gazeteer, but I think it's out of print.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, Intro mods would be a good idea, though it's not absolutely required.

1. Who do I contact? Is there a webpage for them?

I'm having problems finding their site at the moment; several of the Triad sites were hosted by living-greyhawk.com, and that domain no longer exists. They may be working on setting up a new site.

3. I have RPGA cards for membership signups, plus my own card. Do I need anything else?

In order to be able to order events, you'll need to pass the RPGA's Herald-Level Test. It's at:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/gmprogram/herald

4. What do I send in after each session? It's been so long since I read the original paperwork . . .

Really, all you need to do is report to the RPGA that the event's been played (which consists of telling them the RPGA numbers of the DM and the players). You do that on your RPGA member page (which you log into using your RPGA number). It's also the page that you order the events on...with regional modules, you then need to contact the Triad to get the actual modules.

Plus, are there any helpful resources for PCs? I have the Living Greyhawk Gazeteer, but I think it's out of print.

It hasn't been updated, but if they can find copies at your local game store, it's still a good purchase.

Biggest thing they need is the current Living Greyhawk Campaign Standards (LGCS) document. It contains a lot more detailed information on how to create and advance a Living Greyhawk character.

The current version is v4.2, and you can download it from the main LG site:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/welcome

(Click on the "Living Greyhawk Campaign Standards version 4.2" link on the right side of the page, and save it on your computer (it's a big PDF file).)

Hope this helps!

Search Yahoo! Groups for the Keoland Yahoo! Group. You'll be able to contact people in your area.

Where do you live at in the NY-NJ-PA region? Often times you can find sub-groups for different regions on Yahoo as well.

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/keoland/ is the Keoland yahoo group. As of right now, there is no Keoland website, although from what I understand the last web master does still have all the files. We're working on figuring out a way to get a new webpage.

In the files section of that yahoo group, there is the newest Keoland MetaOrg book and the names and e-mail addresses of the Keoland Triad are contained within.

2. I seem to recall there was a webpage, but it was pretty outdated.

On the RPGA page here on wizard's website, you fill in the event form online. Nothing's mailed in anymore.

Thanks in advance!

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Living_Greyhawk/ is the general LG yahoo group. There are files there such as the Living Greyhawk Campaign Standards (LGCS), the Deities document, character sheets and logs.

hey all,

a question would it help if there was a document on the RPGA site that listed all the triads and the POC's email to send them the request for passwords?

it seems quite a few can't find this information off the top and such that dont follow the yahoogroups or anything like that.

Only if someone stays on top of it and updates it constantly. Too many times such document list Triad members how have already stepped down. And as it happens, two of the three Keoland Triad members, including the one who distributes the adventures, are stepping down at the end of the year.
