Swiftbrook 02-19-06, 06:24 PM	Wondering if there is a feat, leagal in LG, that allows me to "threaten" the squares around me if I am using a bow. No, I don't have an Elfcraft bow, which does the same thing. Looking for a feat. -Swiftbrook
JohnduBois 02-19-06, 09:06 PM	I don't know of any feats that do this. The only option I am aware of is the 1st level Ranger and Wizard spell Arrow Mind. Its casting time is an immediate action, so you can use it in response to a movement, it allows you to both threaten nearby squares and can attack without provoking, and it lasts for a minute per level. Pretty good deal for a 1st-level spell...

Iswald 02-20-06, 07:20 AM	OofBI's extraordinary ability lets you shoot a bow while threatened without proking an AoO, but it doesn't let you threaten with a bow.
Blackwood 02-20-06, 02:03 PM	The arrowmind spell (if available to you) is perhaps the best choice, but barring that, Improved Unarmed Strike may do some of what you want. You would not be threatening with the bow, and your AoOs would be pretty weak (bare fist), but you would at least threaten and thus provide flanking benefits and the like.
