That kind of comment doesn't exactly help.

Anyone who thinks doing that kind of stuff is a piece of cake should try sharing the burden for just one month. It's the safe bet they would never complain again after that...

Folks, let's not forget the Circle isn't paid for their work. They are doing it of their own free will for our fun. The least we could do is show a little patience, eh? :whatsthis

It used to take me almost a solid month of work (5-6 nights a week 3-4 hours a chunk) to do a LGCS revision. That was reading dozens of books, thousands of emails, and hudreds of triad questions and requests. It is a highly stressful and thankless job. No matter what you change somebody will be cheering and others will be proclaiming the end of the world to anybody who will listen.

So if it is not going fast enough then I recommend sucking it up and getting over it LOL. When they start charging you $20, prepaid only, with a delivery date, and it is past that date you can cry about it being late. Until then stop cluttering up my screen man. LOL

If they asked, I'd be GLAD to help out - proofreading, spelling/grammar/consistency checking, whatever else they asked as long as it doesn't make me eat modules (I don't travel enough to be able to do that).

Haven't seen the request yet.

How about making an offer yourself instead of waiting a request?

You don't have to make such an offer.

The Circle is pleased to accept help from you, and everybody else in the campaign, to proofread, spellcheck, grammar check, and consistency check, the LGCS.
Even more, they will ask you to contribute suggestions for changes.
And you won't have to eat any adventures! (That's what I get to do.)

As soon as it is ready.

See, that's what posting it for review and comment is all about. To give anyone who cares to contribute a chance to check for all those proofreading elements, as well as to offer their views on the overall content.
But you do have to wait for the draft document to be ready. It is rather hard to do any proofreading of an unfinished document.

So give the Circle time to finish it, and the Triads time to review it, and it will be here in due course for whoever wants to help proofread it and more.

I think I just did.

Putting yourself up as volunteer involves more than making one post in an unrelated thread, somehow hoping a Circle member is going to drop by, see it, be impressed by sarcasm and humbly request your assistance.

How about sending them an email?

My post was just made out of sarcasm as i have yet to see one deadline met in LG for a document to be released. That is all. I understand they all are very busy...but just by dropping an email once a week or something would placate thousands of people. It wouldnt have to say much...just like words hey we are coming along...or maybe drop hints...anything is good. People hate to feel as if they are forgotten.
