Blindsight? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Just wanted to know if there is a method to get blindsight via class ability, with whatever class? I see several offer Blindsense, even a Blindsight at higher levels (beyond the LG cap).

05-24-06, 12:59 PM I cannot help if you are looking for it just as a class ability. The 2nd level spell Listening Lorecall (from Spell Compendium) can grant it if you have the requisite number of ranks in Listen. Be advised that both the number of ranks in Listen required and the classes that have access to the spell have changed since its appearance in Complete Adventurer.

05-24-06, 08:13 PM I cannot think of a character class that offers Blindsight as a class ability early in progression. I don't even know of a higher level class or prestige class that offers this ability.

It might be worth it to ask this question at the D&D Class and Prestige Classes board, HERE (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17). See what those guys say. Then, browse the LGCS and see if anything legal matches up with their advice. The Character Optimization (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=339) board might be a good place to ask around, too.
