First off, I apologize if this has been covered, but I did a search for "Boots of Sidestepping" and it gave me every post with "of" in it. This is another MIC question.

The exact wording of the access I have in the favor box is "Boots of Sidestepping (Dungeonscape)", yet there is a different item with the same name in the MIC. Even though Dungeonscape only came out a month before the MIC, I imagine I now have access to the MIC version instead, right?

Why would you publish two different versions of the same item within a month of each other?

Even so, why would the Triad explicitly list Dungeonscape? The only thing I can think of is that the module was approved between the publication dates of the two books, but that's a stretch...

Given that the two items are VERY different, you should probably stick to the version you actually got access to.

No. You use the version that the AR tells you to use: LG doesn't (currently) have any rules in place for converting non-MIC access to MIC access. As Jay said, you have access to the Dungeonscape item, not the MIC item, so you have to stick to the Dungeonscape version.

Fine with me. I prefer it and it's cheaper.
