vangard 01-14-06, 12:13 PM	i have been playing the rpga sanction centuar from brightlands and a number of things have come up. 1. can a centuar use horse shoes magical or normal. 2. can a centaur wear any magical footwear and does he need two pair? 3. is the cost of enchanting armour double when he becomes large size or just the cost of the armor itself? 4. although it is not stated. does a centaur automatically get mounted combat?

Yes. You have hooves.. enjoy. 2. No. You still have hooves.. sorry. 3. The later. The base cost of the material (ie the masterwork armor) is different. And armor is already double cost for a medium centaur (non-humanoid shape) just like it is for a medium sized riding dog. For a large centaur it is 4 times normal cost. I know that doesn't make much sense for a chain shirt, but thems the breaks. To whit a large sized +1 chain shirt would cost 1550 (1000 enchanment +150 masterwork +400 large nonhumanoid chain shirt). 4. No they do not. And good luck finding a mount to ride as a centaur without first being polymorphed. A centaur is one creature and is very different from a horse with a rider... even if they may look similiar at great distances. -James
