So I just got permission to build structures on my land, but multiple questions have already arose:

1. Do I now get free upkeep in that region staying in my own chateau?

2. When a shrine is purchased, does it come with a free concecrate, or does NPC spellcasting need to be performed?

3. Can I hire more servants than are required?

4. Are these rules just in the Stronghold builders guide, or have they been reprinted somewhere that I'm just missing?

5. My character is now the lord of multiple holdings of land. What is his title now?

Probably all of these are excellent questions for your Triad; these are likely all region-specific questions.

Nope. These were from Core mods.

If you got this keep from a certain adaptable, you follow the rules as given in the special FAQ for that adaptable that was posted a few weeks ago.

All your questions should be answered by the FAQ.

Re-reading the FAQ gives me an answer to question #1 (I downloaded the wrong AR like a dope). The other questions still stand.

Buying a service (work) is almost certainly going to be handled like buying an item. Do you have access to extra servants? If so, yes. If not, no.

I don't think your title would change, according to the medieval history I'm familiar with. Common modern practice is the same. My landlord doesn't become a landprince just just because he buys a second building.

Does said shrine specifically say that it comes with a free spell attached? Otherwise, it doesn't. That's like buying a mithril shield, and saying the stalwart pact 'just came with'.

I would assume he has multiple titles. That's the way it has tended to work historically. AT a certain point the King of England was also a lesser king of lands in France and owed fealty to the King of France. Depending on the situation, he was either an equal or a subordinate(*).

Just add the titles to your list. Be "Fred, Defender of the Faithful, Lord of the Lesser Isles, Baron of Burthold and Prince of the Pomarj".

There is probably a complicated and vitally important order in which to put them, depending on who you are speaking to. Make a Diplomacy check.

(*) No it didn't work out so well. But after a century of war, it ws resolved.
