You also can't voluntarily spend TU's on things like crafting, nonadventuring cash, etc. The one exception is retraining, because you can explicitly spend next year's TU's on that.

In 2008, going to negative TU's for any reason retires the character, because there is no 2009 to borrow from.

To find these rulings, go read the Q&A thread (sticky at top) and poke around. Or look in the archives of this list, as this has been asked several times before and I believe also was covered in a dispel confusion.

12-04-07, 09:32 PM Hey I Just realized I finished RHOD part's 4&5 after the September ruling. Which means I still have a full fifty-two T.U.s next year because I never had to barrow to finish the mod. :ayyyy!:
