I think the LGCS says I have to play a PHB race or subrace as described there. Is this true or can I play any race from the MM with a level adjustment of zero (ie: can I play an orc)?
Thanks guys.

Actually, PC Orcs do exist.. there was previously a way to earn campaign documentation to play the race, but new players have no way to earn similar documentation.

I have heard of a RUMOR that early in the LG campaign, a PC was allowed to run a "Snow Elf" which he created himself for the Winter Fantasy Con.

The Snow elf PC was given in Year 1 in a special drawing done for the campaign, another player was awarded an asimar PC.

If you have one of the Mark of Heros campaign cards you can play an Orc, one of the miniatures unlock options in Mark of Heros gives you the choice of a kolbold as welll.

Only in MoH naturally, not in LG.
