As my first time as a DM, I reserved a mod for last friday but wouldn'tcha know it it didn't go off as planned. So I'm wondering - do I need to do something to cancel it? Can I request this particular module again as a home game? If by some chance I get it run by tomorrow will it count?

Thanks!

Generally, I believe you have eight days to report the mod. If you get it in before that time limit, you just report it as normal and you are good to go. If not, you cancel it from the same place that you report it. You can then order and run it again, with no problems. (BTW, you can order and run the same mod multiple times. Players just can't play it more than once apiece.)

It's not completely straight-forward to see how you 'cancel' an event...

What you do is, on or after the day you ordered the event for, log in and go to the reporting screen. Then you need to click 'deactivate this session' for each session you requested. Once they are all deactivated (they'll have a '-', a minus-sign, next to the session number in the top drop-down box) you can then 'validate all results' and everything will be fine. Then you can create a new new event for sometime around when you hope to reschedule.

As Herrbard said, if you are playing the rescheduled game within 8 days of the day you intended to play, just go ahead and report it then. But make sure you do it within 8 days of the scheduled date - I believe the system can lock you out if you have overdue unreported events.

What was confusing was I couldn't go and cancel the event until after it happened. I figured out the 'deactivate' part, but that's good info. Too bad the board doesn't have a working search feature... :)
