| Greyson05-17-06, 11:36 PM | I thought this was very exciting - Shawn Merwin's third installment in the Windows to the Serpent's Soul series is coming next month. As he's noted before, it is called Catching Breath. I'm excited. And, if Mr. Merwin offers an online game so some of us don't have to burn it, keep a seat open for me. Other releases are noted, too: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/articles/20060515a |

| smerwin2905-19-06, 08:53 AM | Thanks guys! You've officially made my weekend! Your checks are in the mail! ;) I wasn't expecting it to be out until July or later, so I am a bit surprised. I am going to try to run an online slot-0 for Origins (and hopefully an in-person slot-0 in western NY). The online slot-0 will be arranged through the Origins GMs Yahoo list. Also, we are working on something completely new in LG that will also be a part of the Core series. It's not assured yet, so I don't want to talk about it, but I am excited about the possibility. | kenobi6505-19-06, 11:55 AM | I ate Clipping Wings and Shedding Scales (and, for that matter, Here There Be Dragons) to run them for my home group, and, in retrospect, really wished I'd had a chance to play them, too, as they were very fun to run, and my group really enjoyed them. I'm pumped that I'll be able to play Catching Breath at the premiere (even if it does mean dragging my sorry butt out of bed on the Sunday morning of Origins), and then get to run it for my home group later on. I'm also looking forward to this unnamed Core project, Shawn. :D |

Yeah, I burned them both, too, and regretted it. Those are two of my favorite Year Fives to run. I am not gonna burn Catching Breath. I did get to play Here There be Dragons - and wish my group would've had an arcane caster and a cleric... Now for some rumor mill grist - I wonder if Shawn is working on some Adaptable action, given Sam's comment. I guess we shall see. Happy gaming! |
| Amurayi05-20-06, 12:54 PM | I play LG basically in homeplay. My dozen players really enjoyed the Serpent Series and it was great to see another part will be out soon! Excellent series! |
