Fril 01-26-05, 01:00 AM	Im in the Veluna area of the greyhawk world (go buckeyes). Now I'm thinking about making a cleric, but here is the catch. I wan't him to be like a "Combat Medic" type guy. Maybe trained in the military as a support role. I want him to use a Compound Bow and Dietie-less. Do I absolutly need a Dietie to get the War Domain bonus of Martial weapon Proficancy and weapon focus?
King Kashue 01-26-05, 02:48 AM	That's Deity...I can tell you're a Buckeye... ;) And yes, in LG you have to serve a deity... The only deities that have war domain and use the longbow (weapon focus covers both the regular and Composite forms) are Mayaheine (who as Demi-god of protection would be a good choice for your concept), Phaulkon (An Archery god), and Solonor Thelendria (Elven god)...No deity has war and shortbow as their weapon... And no deity has both Healing and War... Hope that helps... Go Blue!
