Hey, on the top of the AR it says Pi-Zoar's ring is 900 gp but under the items section it says it's 9000, which is right?

It is 9,000 gp for Pi-zoar's Ring. The Treasure Summary and Item Access sections at the end of the adventure both list it as 9,000 gp.

And, it makes sense - it requires a 4th-level spell (CL7) for its moderate necromancy aura.

Damn, i have to change the AR. Now it's between saving up for this or a rod of lesser empower (i'm playing a Necromancer specialist)

I recommend the ring. I just think it's neat to have items that few other characters will possess. If I'd had ten grand at the time, the Ether Thread longsword would have been MINE.

Now, the question I see in the future is players asking if the caster level boost from Pi-zoar's ring stacks with any other caster level boosts - like from a prestige class, for example. Or wizard specialization. I guess we shall see.

Wizard specialization gives a Casterlevel boost?

I assumed that it did. Is there some sort of official ruling on boosts in caster level in the core rules, FAQ, LGCS, etc.?
