I forgot to mention this on the LG survey btw :) I think the website would be an easier route than hardcopy. Get the Triads to send in the news :) Thanks Mike

Furluge 07-13-04, 02:47 AM	I'd have to agree as well. The lack of information as to what exactly is going on can be extremly frustrating. As a new player when I'm creating a character I only have stale and second hand news to go by as to what's been happening recently. I mean I created my character to be from a certain town that I found out two weeks later that it was occupied by another region. I mean perhaps I'm not in the norm, but I'd never subscribe to a magazine for any sort of news, I mean the time it takes for printing and then distribution ensures any news is old.

pauln6 07-13-04, 08:53 AM	I don't actually play in LG but I have using it as a tool to keep track of world events in my own home campaign. There are some great events happening world-wide and it seems a shame that so much hard work gets little recognition outside of the gaming tables. Some Triads have been very helpful though. This was mainly an agreement signed between Onnwal & Sunndi triads with Naerie thrown in for good measure due to geographical reasons. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By the will of His Transcendent Imperial Majesty, Xavener, Overking of the United Kingdom of Ahlissa, Grand Prince of Kalstrand, Crowned Head of the Celestial House of Darmen and Hetman of all the Aerdi, let the following be proclaimed before all those of good will who walk beneath the Heavens. Upon this, the first day of Needfest, in the five hundred and ninety fourth year of the Common Reckoning of Nasran, the United Kingdom of Ahlissa does hereby enter into a solemn compact of treaty with the Kingdom of Sunndi and the Free State of Onnwal. Under the treaty of the aforementioned compact, the following terms have been agreed: Firstly, that the United Kingdom of Ahlissa will open its borders to allow passage (under certain agreed conditions) of the XIth Army of the Kingdom of Sunndi to the port of Naerie, wherein ships of the Imperial Fleet shall convey them to the shores of the Free State of Onnwal, there to make war upon the iniquitous, tyrannical forces of the Scarlet Brotherhood, who for too long have besmirched the soil of Onnwal with their vile presence. The aforementioned sovereigns recognise the legitimacy of the rule of His Highness, Barzhaan of Haxx, Prince of Naerie, over the fief granted him by his liege, His Transcendent Imperial Majesty, Xavener, Overking of the United Kingdom of Ahlissa, and of the rule of his highness' legitimate heirs in perpetuity. Thirdly, that both the Kingdom of Sunndi and the Free State of Onnwal will allow factors of the Royal Guild of Merchants of Aerdy, their agents and guards to ensure their security and free and safe passage within their respective sovereign borders. In return, the United Kingdom of Ahlissa will allow merchants from both the Kingdom of Sunndi and the Free State of Onnwal free and safe passage within the sovereign borders of the United Kingdom. This compact is made in the spirit of fraternity that exists between the noble heirs of the Great Destiny of the Aerdi, and which, lives yet, even after the long tyranny of the Naelax Dynasty, usurpers who destroyed the unity of the Aerdi people, setting one against the other for their depraved pleasures.
