I have a character in that is planning on being a Templar. He is 13xp shy of leveling. The reason I mention this is because I was hoping someone reading these boards would have heard a rumor or even an informed guess as to what the new requirments will be. I plan on playing this character in a convention in two weeks and need to make sure I level up properly. Thanks in advance!

Hey, redgamer.

I think you will be hard-pressed to find any hint of content in the forthcoming Complete Divine. WotC has been pretty tight-lipped regarding it. So much so, that the issue was addressed in THIS THREAD (http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=83384) at ENWorld (http://www.enworld.org/forums/news.php).

Since Templar will be replaced by 'Pious Templar' in CD, I recommend waiting until you have the book on your hands before playing with your character to avoid any unneccessary trouble if the requirements have changed too much.

Looks like we'll still have to wait a while to learn what 'True Believer' feat does, as well if spell progression has changed. I'm quite sure many people won't be happy that you have to wait until 3rd level to get weapon specialisation.

But otherwise i'm happy that they changed requirements for Knowledge religion to only 4 ranks.

No need to wait:

Thanks.

That is definetly better feat than endurance for cleric and quite helpful to every class. Pious templar might definetly be the way to go with paladins who have received most of the class benefits on level 5.

Both feat requirements compensate paladin quite nicely, as is the case with Smite ability and human paladins can fulfill all requirements (other than BAB) on level 1:D

Now we just have to wait for the book to come out I quess....
