Reska 07-17-07, 03:59 PM	Beyond the confusion on why I'm getting a GM reward mini (since I haven't GM'd since DDXP), I'm more confused as to why I get the following: 1 sheet of paper, 1 brochure sized ad, 1 mini card, 1 mini (kuo-toa, slightly squashed); in a package that looks like it could hold several copies of the new Harry Potter book...without busting at the seams? ANyone else wondering the same thing as me?

Britt 07-17-07, 04:21 PM	I believe they forgot to include the spell template again; this happened one or two mailings ago. I already notified HQ about the error. Player rewards should be arriving soon, I think.

The_Jester 07-18-07, 10:59 AM	Didn't get the template in mine either. Gotta love the RPGA. Always so poor but they insist on FedEx-ing giant envelopes for a tiny mini AND a second for spell templates AND a regular mail envelope for cards.
Prof. Pacali 07-18-07, 06:40 PM	Can the RPGA update the Rewards Program page? The current version doesn't mention new campaigns (no mention of Xendrik Expeditions) and still mentions Gencon Socal. Anyway, I got my squashed Kuo-Toa today, and nothing else. Am I still supposed to get a spell template for my first 20 DM reward points? Do I also get reward cards?

ANyone else wondering the same thing as me? The Giant Bubble-wrapped-on-the-inside Envelope of Doom didn't prevent my kuo-toa from getting squashed as well. And I agree, I wince when I think of all the trees that're being cut down so I can get my minis and spell templates (which I don't need any more of) shipped to me in oversized envelopes. You'd think WotC, being located in the tree-hugging West Coast city of Seattle, would be more environmentally conscious.....

Most useless GM reward ever. A broken mini. Thanks WOTC. That was worth the hundreds of hours of free volunteer work promoting your product ;) (I am not saying I need rewards, but they should be meaningful if they are going to make the distinction of GM rewards vs. Player ones. a broken mini and 6 snow elf cards kind of annoy me more than rewarding me. especially as I got the snow elf card for being a player as well.) I think it would be AWESOME if for example, the new Kobold card was restricted to people with for example, at least 50 GM reward points. (not too many really) Those kind of rewards would be meaningful, impact the game, and encourage others to contribute. Just an idea.

I've only been GM'ing since this january, and I will have about 40 after my most recent tables are reported. yeah. my mini was fine, but my stat card was utterly trashed. not that I use the cards, I only use them in RP games, not mini games. Anyway, if you're going to mail a common, save your postage and send me a $6 coupon for the MM5 I just bought...I mean really, $6.90 for a common? even over the internet the purchase wouldn't cost that much.

I was being realistic, if you say 100 or something, people will need to wait too long to be able to build up enough.
