Hi,

I was looking at running this module for a games day but I can not find it on the list when I go to book it on the Wizards RPGA site. We have enough players who can qualify to play. Can anyone enlighten me as to where I book the game and download the module from.

Thanks

That's a "Special" module code, I think, and I'm not sure if you can order them generally.

I believe this module was made available about 4-6 weeks ago. Several people have payed GP and TU to get the prereq to play it elieving it to be available.

are you trying to play Dust of the Dead world?
if so the it is listed as
CORS2-03 Dust of the Dead World -- Home Play
not CORS3-02

CORS3-02 is what is defined as a Core Special. These are limited release modules, designed exclusively for certain large conventions. This one, "Dust of a Dead World," was designed exclusively for Origins 2003. It it not designed for home, game or convetnion days outside of that. Winter Fantasy anmd GenCon have similar specific-convention-only supermodules as well.

Traditionally, those Specials designed for Origins are intended to eventually be reworked and released for general gameplay the following year (under a new number, etc.). For example, the Isles of Woe were redesigned and released as general gameplay the year following it's initial appearance as a Core Special.

To the best of my knowledge, Dust of the Dead World has not yet been redone and/or released in such a manner.

Dust is available for download and has been for more than a month I think.

I've heard quite a few complaints about people being unable to see it, but I am not sure why. All I can recommend is setting your gameday further ahead or try setting it as a gameday or a con, not homeplay.

It was run at a local game day last month.

Definately can not see this module on the list even set to play as games day. This now begs the question, Why can some get it play and others can not (previous post)?
Several gamers here have paid GP and TU to gain the prereq to play the module on the understanding that it was available. If it is not or has been withdrawn I think some will not be happy.

Actually, it doesn't even show up on the master list of all modules, which is unrelated to any play dates. How weird.

I 'm able to order it, np.

It is at the end of all the cores, not in alphabeltical order but is there for me.

Perhaps reset ur filter to just LG games.

Other than that, dunno.

I checked and it is the last COR... listed (CORS2-03 Dust of the Dead World). However, clicking on it explains why people may be having problems ordering it.

For conventions, retail, and game days, it expires on 10/30/2003. Hence it can no longer be ordered for a convention, retail or game day. However, for home play, it can be ordered starting 4/8/2004 and expires on 12/31/2004. Thus it can ONLY be ordered for HOME play, not a GAME day, RETAIL, or a CONVENTION!

Definately not there. COR4-06 is the last entry on available core modules. Looks like a few players may be entitled to TU and GP refunds as they have made purchased based on a lie.

You can only order the Core Specials, such as Dust of a Dead World, for "Home Play". If the only place you can all get together to play it is the game store, that shouldn't be a problem, but you can't call it a "Game Day".
