When will "CORS5-02 Mines of Father Eye" be ready for home play? I read here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/lgcn/20050830a) that it was an origin's special event and was supposed to be available for home play soon after.

I also cannot order "COR5-11 Dark Deceit on Bright Sands" which was supposed to be available in August.

What gives?

Dark Deceit is not finished and has not been released...Why? I'm not sure, but it's not your system that's messed up or anything...

As for the Origins special, last year's Origin special, Here there be Dragons, was released last month...To give you an idea of what "soon after" means... :D

Yeah, we played Dark Deceit two weeks ago at GaspCon in Pittsburgh. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to order it...

Were those events at an Extended Premier convention?

If I try to schedule Dark Deceit as a Home game it doesn't show up. If I try to schedule it as a Retail gameday all of a sudden Dark Deceit is in the list.

So I guess my question is: when will Dark Deceit be available for Home play?

Probably in December then. If I remember correctly Times Tide on Bright Sands will be available for homegames in January.

For questions like this, it's always best to go to the RPGA Scenario Information (https://events.wizards.com/RPGAWeb/external/scenarios.asp) page. There, you'll see that Dark Deceit had / has release dates of:
- Conventions: 10/24/05
- Retail: 12/1/05
- Game Day: 12/2/05
- Home Play: 1/1/06

Hope this helps.

I must have read adventure summaries dozens of times but I overlooked the availablity dates every time until you pointed them out. That does indeed help.

Thanks,

Creighton said on the LG Yahoo! list about a month ago that Mines of Father Eye will be available in the next few weeks. It shouldn't take as long as "Here there be Dragons".

Yep. "Here There Be Dragons" was in the unfortunate position of containing a great deal of material from the old "Builder Books" and was scheduled for release when those books were being phased out. Hence the need for a lot of rewriting, and hence part of the reason for the delay.

But it was worth the wait. Great adventure :)
