Is it worth taking this feat at level 6 with a cleric? What sort of Items would I be able to make? Or is it better to leave it till a higher level. This is for a cleric going Radiant Cheeseweazel of Aurifar (or Pelor for you non-Bright Sands Characters).

If you had the magic domain then your options for item creation are really open, but...

Handy inexpensive items within reach of a 6th level pelorish-cleric caster (assumed human), depending upon your access:

Pearl of Power I
Armbands of Might (CV)-for melee clerics
Circlet of Persuasion (boost turning checks!)
Cloak/Vest of Resistance +1
Eyes of the Eagle (to lend to party spotter mayhaps)
Gauntlets of Ogre Power

The list really would open up if you had the magic domain, but neh. Unless you want to make tons of pearls of power, then it probably isn't that worth it. Note that at 8th level you can get a bunch of stat item buffers that much sooner than if you delayed to 9th level.

I don't think he can make Armbands of Might from the Comlete Adventurer without having seen them on an AR before. Craft Wondrous Items only lets you craft stuff out of the DMG or things you have seen on an AR.

Despite the fact that Cloak of Resistance now has a progression chart in the LGCS I don't know whether you can craft one if you've never had access to one.

Since we have to follow the Caster Level requirements listed on magic items there isn't too much you could create before 8th level or so, wizard's seem to have much better craft access at low levels.

Some other things you can make before 9th, assuming you've never seen one on an AR:

+2 Stat items (except Int and Dex) at 8th
Candle of Truth
Circlet of Blasting, minor at 8th
Elixer of Truth
Gem of Brightness at 8th
Hand of Glory at 7th
Helm of Comprehend Languages and Read Magic
Lantern of Revealing at 7th
Periapt of Health at 7th
Periapt of Proof Against Poison at 7th
Phylactery of Faithfullness
Silversheen at 7th
Lesser Strand of Prayer Beads at 7th
Murlynd's Spoon at 7th
Ungent of Timelessness

Nothing impressive that you could afford before 9th level.

Which is why he said, "depending on your access".

A +1 cloak of resistance is on the list of standard items that anyone can purchase.

Pearls of Power 1st alone are worth it - 5 Pearls of Power 1st means an additional 5 Lesser Vigors per day out of combat, freeing up Clerics to have fun in combat. Toss in a good Cloak of Resistance +2(something you can craft at 8th level regardless) and another Pearl, and you're set. That's a savings of 5000 gold at the expenditure of 2 TUs...

CWI is very powerful, particularly because losing XP is not really a penalty unless you're in a home game or in a situation where you can't afford to lose TUs(trying to play RHoD as an example).

Ok Seeing as how I do not have the magic domain, I guess this feat will not be useful. I suppose I will go with my backup of taking quicken spell now so I can take divine metamagic quicken at 9th and Domain spontanaiety at 12. Either that or Leadership now for roleplaying purposes mopre than anything.

Just a quick question though. Reading the DMG it states that to craft a phylactery of undead turning you have to be a 12th level cleric. I read this to mean that cheesweasels cannot craft these items. Would this be correct?

Yeah...that item is weird. It specifies 12th level cleric. So sacred exorcists and radiant servants need not apply.

Most items just have the caster level limit. Not that one.

Sorry about that, I meant Vest of Resistance. You don't get automatic access to it and since it's not in the DMG, you'd have to see it on an AR in order to craft it.

One side comment. You should be thinking about what feat you intend to take at level 9 if you take craft wondrous at 6.

If the L9 feat is more useful from 6-8 than the stuff you'll be crafting, I'd put off the crafting feat until 9. The really good access starts at level 9-10 anyway, and you won't have the cash to do hardcore crafting anyway in the 6-8 levels. My wife focused on items she wouldn't be able to craft (bought a metamagic rod, upgraded her armor etc) in that level range, then did an orgy of crafting after level 9 to buy all the wondrous items she'd been putting off.

The only caveat here is if you see access to a limited feat between 6th and 9th. Perhaps the feat is worth giving up the 'L9 Feat' but not the craft wonderous feat.

If I take quicken at six, planning to take divine quicken at ninth, it would have to be an unbeleivable limited feat to make me change that plan.
