Also, I think there should be a compiled list of locations in Greyhawk. I know Greyhawk doesn't like full maps. They mean you can't really add nething. I'm just thinking a list of main attractions in every quarter and a description of what the Grand Citadel and other tall buildings look like form down in the city. The table might look like: Clerksburg: University of Magical Arts - this building is a large tetrahedronal pyramid filled with wizards and magical scholars all deciphering ancient magical tomes and training in the use of arcane magic. Hiring a sage to decipher a written letter costs x*y per page or something like that. The scholars commonly wear grey scholars caps to signify their membership and are mostly pale with bushy beards from years of study. Members are called sages. Players will not be admitted beyond the first level of the building unless they possess access on an AR. that is a poorly edited example. a very poorly edited example. |

I doubt it. First, I'd have to wonder what purpose such detail would serve for the LG campaign. While technically players can recover from the loss of all wealth, what happens when the high end fines only take 50-90% of their wealth? Likewise prion sentences more than 2 years long. Is it really worth it to keep track of a character for 5+ years of not playing? Second, at some level, even detailing the highest end punishments suggests some acceptance that PCs will commit those acts. If you commit a crime that really does merit death, life imprisonment, mutilation, of premanent exile from the city, then you character should just be removed from the campaign for an excessively evil act, and the crime aspect is irrelevant. Third, the amount rules required for such would greatly exceed their use. If the character is to be retired by time or retired for being evil, just do it and save space on the details. Also, I think there should be a compiled list of locations in Greyhawk. I know Greyhawk doesn't like full maps. There is such a map, and a partial list. Just get copies of the old LGJ issues with the map descriptions of the quarters of Greyhawk. As for updates with 3.5 rules for all of them, that's a LOT of work. There are dozens of locations in the city, and it would take a full sourcebook to elaborate on all of them like that. |

Unfortunately it is out of print, but if you can get hold of a second-hand copy, one issue even has a map of the whole city. Others have details about different quarters. I just checked and issues #1 and #2 with the map of Greyhawk City is unavailable from Paizo, issues 3, 4, and 5 are available for $10. I'm not sure if there are more than that - I think at some point it became part of Dungeon Magazine so you'd have to get back-issues of that if you wanted the later ones. Details on Paizo's website, though. |

This included things like weapons and spells. Banned items include two handed simple/martial weapons, as well as ranged weapons such as bows and crossbows. I think all Greyhawk modules should include such guidelines to keep it consistent. Bertman |
