The character I am looking at is currently a level one shashbuckler with TWF and WF dagger. It is an extremely effective PrC. However... You need access to it and in LG, you don't have access to Able Learner, which throws something of a monkey wrench into skills - Daggerspell Mage has almost no Int/Cha Rogue Skills. |
| Cynric05-23-06, 07:49 PM | True, I need access, but I am hoping Ratik, when it starts up will give access through something, whhether it be meta-org or adventure, or I can just request a special. Thanks. |

(This was the guy's "diplomatic" character, which he used for an investigative mod, but he spent most of his time insulting people. Just goes to show that high damage does not equal good character creation.) If I recall correctly, the build was something like: Gray Elf Str 12, Dex 16, Con 12, Int 18, Wis 8, Cha 8 Swashbuckler3, Rog2, Warmage1, Daggerspell Mage Weapon Finesse, TWF, Weapon Focus, Practiced Caster (gets the caster level requirement), 9th = extra edge The point is to start casting charges through the daggers or holding charges in the daggers (spell-storing daggers, if possible) and hit for shocking grasp damage, 5d6+4 in addition to the spell-stored shocking grasp 5d6+4 and the dagger damage itself 1d4+6+sneak attack. Later on, you substitute Vampiric Touch for shocking grasp (I think warmages get it). |
