mowaca 01-08-06, 08:09 PM	I was considering buying a darkwood shield for my Druid, but I didn't see anywhere in my AR's where that is allowed. I do have a couple of favors where I can buy anything in the DMG, but it seems silly to waste those on such a cheap item. So assuming I'm correct, are there any particular adventures that grant access to darkwood? Thanks!
redgamer 01-10-06, 01:35 PM	There are very few and in my experience most are interactives. That being said I doubt a sheild is so important to your druid that it is worth using the favor. What else are you thinking about using the favor on? Personally I've never used any of the 1 item under x gold favors.

mowaca 01-10-06, 06:10 PM	That's basically what I thought. I only have 11 ARs (and only 7 cores), so I'm not surprised I haven't run across it. I'm going to save up my favor for any DMG item for under 25,000 gp when I get close to 25,000 gp. In the mean time, I'll just lug around my regular ol' heavy shield.
King Kashue 01-11-06, 04:21 AM	I've only seen darkwood bucklers, no Darkwood Heavy shields so far :( I love the Darkwood "buckler"...It's not a buckler, since bucklers are made of metal (and thus cannot be made of darkwood)...The Darkwood buckler is actually a Darkwood light shield (per the description in the DMG) and the "Darkwood Shield" is a heavy shield (per the description in the DMG)... Just to make things confusing I suppose... :D
