04-25-07, 10:06 AM I don't think Dirgesinger is a real class, Or perhaps its considered an "Evil" class. Perhaps it just slipped though the cracks.

But if you wanted to play a dirgesinger, write yourself up an emo bard, and have him call himself a dirgesinger. :)

Libris Mortis is an unlisted, or "author-only" book (with the exception of Nightsticks). Triads have a list of items from this book that they are allowed and disallowed from handing out. Dirgesinger is one of the many options from Libris Mortis that are not permitted as player options.

I WILL be requesting the class for my Death Cultist (Dru/Mnk) and his Brd/Mar Satry cohort.

If the class is NPC-ONLY.. I will postpone the SM for retirement..

It has been stated in this thread that your Triad doesn't have the option of approving your request. Please give them the respect to not bother them with something that you know that they cannot do.

Seems to be at odds with the above mentioned statement that you CAN'T have it.

You can request all you want though I guess. I keep asking Santa to give me a million dollars. He hasn't delivered yet.

04-25-07, 02:37 PM What I meant, was that I would request a Roleplaying Special Mission to justify my characters transition from PC to NPC.

PC
druid/monk/sacred fist
bard/marshal (Satyre COHORT)

NPC
ex-druid/blighter/monk/sacred fist
bard/marshal/dirgesinger (Satyre COHORT)

The 'Special Mission' would grant no actual 'Access'.... Its just kind of a cool way to retire the character.

04-25-07, 03:16 PM Why isn't this list incorporated into the LGCS?Indeed. In fact, I thought there was a recent question on one of the Yahoo Groups where an 'in the know' person suggested that there wasn't a formal list issued to Triads of what is and isn't to be made available to players.

Having said that, each Circle member might have his or her own list of things that they will never authorise appearing on ARs in their metaregion (/in Core modules, in Creighton's case). That list won't ever appear in the LGCS, and in fact, as either Britt or Madfox recently explained that one of the reasons for things which are neither blanket-Open or blanket-Closed is that sometimes Circle members disagree over whether something is balanced and fits the Greyhawk theme. When there's genuine disagreement, the decision is left up to individual adventure-sanctioners.
