Does the Warmage get all his spells before lvl 3? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-28-05, 10:33 AM Forwarding a question from one of my players:
As you know you can`t get access to the core non-PHB and limited spells until you reach Level 3.

What about the Warmage.. a class with a spelllist which is already quite limited.

Does he get access to these spells before he is level 3?

List:
-Accuracy
-Fist of Stone
-Hail of Stone
-Orb of Acid, lesser
-Orb of Cold, lesser
-Orb of Electricity, lesser
-Orb of Fire, lesser
-Orb of Sound, lesser

10-31-05, 06:46 PM In the Spells section of the LG guidebook they mention (in the FAQ) a Cleric who has a domain from the Complete Divine and he doesn't have to wait to cast non PHB domain spells...

...but they mention that Warmage feats are considered Core, but dont mention the spell list.

Too bad, I guess you'll just have to accept using a magic missile with an int bonus on damage while wearing light armour and weilding weapons.

Pity :)

BTW I've already got mine drafted.

10-31-05, 10:16 PM The Cleric domain thing is a specific exception to the rule. It has been clarified on this board and other forums by representatives of the Circle that Warmages do not also have an exception.
