| Morgen08-30-07, 03:19 AM | At the moment I'm presently attempting to gain the status of Knight inside of my original homeland of the Shield Lands, however it would be nice if I'm to retire from my adventuring days to rule and to spread the good words of Bahumat that I would make my last adventures enjoyable with my friends protecting the lands of the Tenhas from the forces of Phol...erm..evil. -The Honourable Lord and Squire Locké No'Tero, Saighden of Tehn. (I can only hope that Living FR offers as many options for nobility and titles as the core mods alone for LG have done. There is more to fun then money and +2 swords!) |
| magebeast08-30-07, 04:19 PM | Seeing as my High Lord of Tenh is my most likely character to retire before the end of the campaign, I'd be pretty happy with a Tenh wrap-up. |
| solbergb08-30-07, 04:51 PM | Iuz flattens defenseless Redspan as he returns to Oerth? Somebody casts "Heal" on Duke Lablablabla and sympathetic magic heals his half of Tenh while an army of grimly organized Shapers of Sun and Stone reclaim the Pale half of Tenh one tree at a time? Hopefully the plot won't involve the Pale wanting the blasted wasteland that is the Redspan half of Tenh. We got the mines in Calbut and rooted out the demon infestation there. We have enough lands to reclaim already, and the process is one that is looking like it will take decades, not months, to complete. But it is progressing, one tree and transplanted wild animal at a time.... I'd like a plot where both sides recognize that the other is in fact healing the land and they make a mutual protection pact, with Pale+Phostaldron allies responsible for keeping Stoneholders out and keeping the Phostwood nasties to the Phost, and Redspan+the nomads that allied with both Redspan and Pale focusing on keeping Iuz's attention elsewhere than the painfully slow healing land. Something like Tenh shouldn't be fixed overnight, but it will certainly help if we stop fighting a stupid war over the remains. Of course...that requieres the Tenha Flan to be reasonable (both Redspan and Pholtan). Good luck with that.... |
| Maclerdon08-31-07, 08:38 AM | What mods are out that that relate directly or indirectly to Tenh? I'm in Nyrond and would like to play more with my noble character. What are my options? |
| sir evets09-03-07, 06:32 PM | I believe that Donovan Hicks and Derek Shubert are co writing in this region (The Shrouded Shores of Abanfyl [COR6-15] ). Hopefully, they will continue to do so and answer some of the left over questions. |
| Timlagor09-04-07, 07:11 PM | My Grey Elf Wizard confidently expects his holdings to be valuable long before he is ready to retire to them. |
| RanielK09-05-07, 09:02 PM | What mods are out that that relate directly or indirectly to Tenh? I'm in Nyrond and would like to play more with my noble character. What are my options? My understanding based on module blurbs was that COR6-07 and COR6-15 were parts one and two of a series wrapping up the healing of Tenh. 15 is a two rounder. I hadn't seen anything as of COR7-12 or so which seemed to relate to Tenh. Lord knows, I've got a 9th Level Flan RSoP who's wanting to get those mods in and would love to see the conclusion to this plot line. |
| The_Jester09-07-07, 07:16 PM | Probably one of the many storylines that's ending prematurely with the campaign's death. |
| magebeast09-08-07, 12:21 AM | Probably one of the many storylines that's ending prematurely with the campaign's death. Dunno, I'm pretty sure that I became an Honored Lord of Tenh in a year four, and I think that the Tenh storyline started before year four, so ending it in year eight hardly seems premature. |
| CdrcJsn09-08-07, 02:58 AM | Probably one of the many storylines that's ending prematurely with the campaign's death. Actually, I think Donovan/Derek (the authors) finished the final mod several months ago before anyone got any hint of the campaign ending. Cedric |
| Chernobyl109-08-07, 02:26 PM | you may also try the PAL regional intro adventure, "fair trade", if you're able. "From the Dust" and the "Shrouded Shores of Abanfyl" are the only COR mods I'm aware of dealing with this issue in the Tehn. Eric |
| solbergb09-10-07, 01:31 PM | It takes a long time to fix an area as blasted as Tenh, especially without a duex-ex-machina like we have in Bright Sands with the Scorpion Crown. That place was sterilized. I for one rather like the gradual progress being made, which isn't likely to finish for decades but is heading in the right direction. If you're of a long lived race, you may enjoy Tenh (or if not, your descendents), assuming Redspan and the Pale can hold off on warring with each other and individually block the Stoneholders and Iuzians for long enough. |
| solbergb09-10-07, 01:32 PM | you may also try the PAL regional intro adventure, "fair trade", if you're able. The Pale has several mods still in play featuring die-hard Tenha refugees/rebels as protagonists/antagonists (depending on your point of view) |
