ETA on CGR 8-02 [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-21-08, 09:09 PM Hi all, I was just wondering when the premier of the rest of the Greyhawk ruins was going to be, not becuase I have already organised a table or bought the mod, but just because I like to know when I can play what and so I can prioritise...

I assume there is some site out there with release dates but buggered if I know where it is...

04-22-08, 12:40 AM The adventure CGR8-02 Shatterstine is scheduled for release next month (May 2008). It is also suppose to have four zones. But, we shall see if that is accurate, as CGR8-01 Crypts of the Forgotten only had three. Hopefully, you'll only have to wait a few weeks for Shatterstone.

Make sure your GM has plenty of time to prep it and hope that Shatterstone is better (though I'm mostly hoping it will come out before my CGR character levels out of range of anyone I could play it with)

I did catch, on one of the yahoo groups, that some, if not all, of it was playtested last week. I am not sure if this helps or not but it is a start...;)

It wasn't that bad, Colleen's bit was refreshing as well, if DMed right.

The only Issue I had with it was the box text, every feature dominated every room, and every staircase/door pierced the wall.

It was like Maya Deva's crystal lake of "how many times can I put crystal in consecutive sentences"

But I thought it was ok. Really depends on the level of prepping though, the modules were very skeletal, and I think its on the onus of the GM to flesh it out dependent on parties. The intent and structure was clear.

05-13-08, 05:11 PM I wrote one of the Part of CGR8-02. I sent my document to him (after playtest) last month.
My last talks with Creighton seemed to indicate that he was "almost done". And those date back to april. I believe it should be out "any time now". But I don't know.

06-05-08, 03:49 PM Do we know for sure if it is 3 or 4 parts? It is an important consideration, at least for my Greyhawk Ruins character, as he has a gaming opportunity this weekend, but I do not wish to push him out of range for playing the final set.

A simple, "Yes, there are four part as posted" or "No, its just like CGR8-01 and only has 3 parts even though the description listed four" would be most helpful and allow me to get in the most LG gaming before the campaign ends.

06-06-08, 06:01 AM I'm not convinced it's coming out at all.
If I was the GM I would let you play all the parts at once and get all the ARs at the end so that you only needed to be in rage at the very beginning -I think that's legitimate but I wouldn't be overlu concerned.

Yet another visit to this thread to hgave my hopes dashed :/
