| opa08-25-07, 02:22 AM | Can anyone tell me whether you have to play the Greyhawk Ruins core mods or be a domain of Greyhawk character to play the Expedition to Greyhawk Ruins mega adaptable? If it does take a character from like 8th to 12th level... then I certainly would be more happy using it to get one of my existing 9th and 10th level characters closer to retirement.. rather than struggling and blowing mods getting another character up in levels .... If there are such restrictions , might we think about removing them, and let players have a choice of playing the series as it was intended or let others use the mega adaptable to help conclude some of their existing characters careers.... Thanks Opa Bissel |

| Timlagor08-25-07, 01:52 PM | Last I heard it was not going to have such a requirement but nothing official has been announced and you shouldn't take anything as definite until the ADP document comes out. [just look at how they see-sawed on the entry requirements for CGR] |
| opa09-08-07, 02:00 AM | Wondering if any of you high up muckity mucks (with all due respect and silliness), have heard anything yet about whether any character will be able to play the ADAPTABLE expedition to greyhawk ruins, without having played any of the greyhawk ruins core arc or having domain of greyhawk residency... im looking forward to playing it but want to play it with an existing mid level character so he can get closer to retirement instead of burning a boatload of mods I could use to retire my two highest characters trying to get my newb GR character up high enough to enter the adaptable.. since tables are forming for the first of the greyhawk ruins core arc mods now , I'd like to get some sort of word as to whether I have to start a new character or if I can just eat the core arc, judge it for everyone else and then play the adaptable with one of my mid levels -Opa Bissel |

| Greyson09-11-07, 02:08 PM | Can anyone tell me whether you have to play the Greyhawk Ruins core mods or be a domain of Greyhawk character to play the Expedition to Greyhawk Ruins mega adaptable? I think Opa has asked this in a couple of different threads. But, I'll answer it here again. You may play the Adapted Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk adventure with any character of the appropriate level. It does not have to be the same character you play in the Castle Greyhawk Ruins Core adventures with. It may be the same character, but it is not required. The Adapted Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk is set in the Domain of Greyhawk, but not necessarily part of the CGR series. They compliment each other. It's like the Blight on Bright Sands series. Players may have a sense of continuity from playing all of the adventures with a single character. But, it is neither absolutley necessary nor required. | Evil_Mouse11-04-07, 05:57 AM | when will this be avable to play? When will this mod be out so people can play it. i already have players wants to play it now |
| Greyson11-04-07, 01:08 PM | When will this mod be out so people can play it. i already have players wants to play it now I am sure there are many, many LGers that want to play Expedition to the Ruins Castle Greyhawk. I expect it to be out in early 2008. Perhaps Timrat can bug the Circle, and then let us know. Soon would be nice. But, if not, we'll just have to be patient. |
| CSHunt6811-05-07, 03:27 PM | It'll be out when it's out, Evilmouse. The fact that you have players who want to play it is totally meaningless. Please stop filling the boards with these requests. |
