Feign Surprise is a lot better than Natural Survivor, I gotta say(my previous only and best card...)

Any info on what went wrong or how they're correcting it?

11-25-06, 10:29 PM Just got Feign Surprise (no other cards) and a letter explaining that if I had 20 reward points, I'd have gotten 3 cards (not 1), or if I had less than 20, I'd have gotten 0 (also not 1).

As might be imagined, I'm slightly confused, as the letter thus seems to indicate that I can't possibly have just gotten a single card with it.

11-25-06, 10:52 PM My understanding is that there was a screw-up in the mailings (i.e., people are getting 1 for every 20 points, instead of the 3 they should have), and there's going to be a supplemental mailing to fix it.

11-26-06, 02:50 AM Now I'm excited. Before today, out of the score of cards my wife and I had were about two that we could use (both right scroll for the job, so couldn't complain much). Today we got another 2 each, including feign surprise and 2 different other useful goodies (one wasn't LG-sanctioned, but 3/4 ain't bad compared to our previous hauls). Quadrupling our variety of useful cards is nice enough, I don't know if my glee can handle that we may have another 8 en route if Kenobi's skinny holds true.

11-26-06, 11:10 AM My wift got 2 cards. I got none yet. I await the vast number of additional cards we're entitled to.

One was a missed-me card, which is nice. Both of us now have druids whose animal companions have dodge/mobility (as part of the role of the speedbump er companion is to draw AOO's)

It looks like old inventory. The cards I and my players have gotten are all from the first two Mark of Heroes sets (where all the good cards were). ;)

I don't even mind the lack of cards (I should have about 18 coming). I fianlly got my Master level GM card (after passing the silly thing back in June). Ah, the new card goodness... :D

11-29-06, 10:25 AM I've traded my LG-legal cards around a bit, finally settling down on only two: Feign Surprise and Hero's Strike. They're good for every character. When limited to one card (level 3 or lower), I use just Feign Surprise.

Which cards do you use with which character?

11-29-06, 10:37 AM I have a 11th level Wizard who uses Feign Suprise, Not This Time (I love this card), and Second Wind. I was using a second Not This Time, but the guy who lent it to me sold it. :weep:

11-29-06, 10:44 AM I am really getting annoyed/worried now. I have not yet recieved any of my mail out. I did 4 cons, minimum of 8 mods each during this period. All of the cons reported my numbers and I have not gotten a bloody thing yet. I have a con this weekend and I would really appreciate getting cards that I can actually use. I have a 6" stack of crap that I use to prop up the corner of my desk all ebberon and MoH creation cards that I can't play due to lack of participation in my area. I hear all these great cards going to other players... where are mine??

They send these things out via regular mail, which is notoriously unpredicatable for timing. (And, if you're not in the U.S., it's just doubly bad.)

FWIW, I'm in the US, and haven't gotten any of mine yet, either.

11-29-06, 12:48 PM It's possible they noticed the error in mailouts partway through the mailings, stopped the system, and restarted. I don't know if that's true, just a possibility.

I had been wondering if that was the case.

Sometimes Dr. Skinner dispenses the food pellets when we peck the button, sometimes he doesn't. It frustrates us pigeons after a while... :)

11-30-06, 10:43 AM My wife and I just received our cards yesterday. I got another Feign Suprise, an Arcane Retention, and a Blessed Relief, and my wife got a Staggering Strike, an Extra Deflection, and one I don't remember. Not bad. I expect we'll be getting another mailing though, because by my calculations I should have gotten at least 6 cards myself.

12-01-06, 12:45 AM I got a Feign Surprize and a Twist the Blade. I'm extremely happy seeing as despite the fact I already had 16 campaign cards I could only use two of them! >.<

On the other paw, if anyone actually played Mark of Heroes or anything around here, I'd have a lot of kick ass PCs.

It depends on which character I'm playing, of course, but there's surprisingly few cards I use.

Any character with Alertness gets two, sometimes three Not This Time cards.
Characters with Scribe Scroll carry a Right Scroll for the Job card.
Most characters carry a Feign Surprise card.
Many characters, particularly those with Tumble, take Let's Try That Again.
Squishy characters, or those very close to a level, often take Not Done Yet.
Higher level fighter types take a Hero's Strike.

My druid usually takes stuff like Back to the Wall and Rooftop Elite... although he hardly ever uses them. Hoping to get some good cards in the mail soon...
