| whpsh09-04-05, 01:53 PM | Is there anything special that has to be done in order to become one of the core prestige classes? There isn't anything "special" listed in the class description (i.e. no one-on-one combat or guild joining). So I guess what I'm asking is, as soon as I qualify for all the requirements for the class, can I just jump into it? --Thanks |

I'm not absolutely sure, but I thought of the possibility of regions disallowing certain prestige classes without campaign documentation. The possibility occurred to me when the opposite is true: that certain Limited prestige classes are core to certain regions. You would have to verify with your local triad to determine if all core prestige classes are most certainly allowed. |

It's just not a good idea to flaunt the fact that you are a member of an illegal PrC in some regions. For instance, if you were to use the Minderbender abilities in Sunndi, you will be banished if you're lucky. You'll be executed if you're not. Your GM should warn you if you are playing an 'inappropriate' PC in a region. |
