RPGA/WotC (one and the same), please setup a forum for the Living Forgotton Realms so thie "Living Greyhawk" forum is not cluttered up with all this pointless speculation, or so any non-pointless LFR information is not buried in some obscure "Living Greyhawk" thread.

Another example of how great WotC is at 'predicting' their clientelle's behavior. They didn't think to create a place for all those thousands of new interested FR fans could talk about the impossible number of combinations of real earth regions to Faerun regions?

Rather they leave you dancing on the deathbed of a successful campaign.

To reply to my own post, I did come across Britt's attempt to redirect said converstations to: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=908528

Note, that this actually confirms my statements: this non-pointless piece of information was buried, and that thread is not in the "RPGA Campaigns" folder, but in "RPGA HQ" folder without a sticky where no newbie is going to find it.

Britt (or whoever created it), I am not saying it should not have been done and I am appreciative of the attempt, but you are a volunteer. WotC should have made an official "Living Forgotten Realms" forum with logo ready to go under the "RPGA Campaigns" with some message like "Coming Gen Con 2008! Living Forgotten Realms! Please post your ideas and thoughts here!"

Isn't it funny? Greyhawk was the test setting for Dnd. Then FR comes along and steals it all with its great similarity to Greyhawk, just more focus on "published" stories. So FR became the most popular dnd setting. Then, Greyhawk becomes the long lived Living system of the RPGA only to have FR cast it by the wayside again.

If Greyhawk comes back again we'll have to start calling it Greypheonix.
