Greetings all you die hard Living greyhawk gamers out there,
I just got my RPGA membership at Origins and I really want to play some more Living greyhawk, the problem is that there are never any games held where I live. If someone could give me a remedy for this I would be most grateful.

When I started LG, only a friend of mine and I played in our town. We would drive 4+hrs to play a mod on the weekend.

What we did was get others hooked on the game, each of us starting a home game group. He's moved out of town, but now there are around 20 active players in the area (depending on the school year). Many come and go but the number is near selfsustaining now.

Join the Online Game Day Yahoo! group and/or the LG Europe Online Yahoo! group.

Links: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/OnlineGameDay/
and
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LG_Europe_Online/

These groups help arrange online games. Remember, only Core modules are available for online play. The games typically go 6 to 8 hours for a normal 4 hour face-to-face game. You will also need an online gaming aid, typically OpenRPG found at www.openrpg.com

Don't break the rules, have patients, and have fun!

Tell us where you live...there are many groups out there...you may just not know where to look.

You may find it helpful to join the Veluna Yahoo group as well. http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Veluna-lw/

Additionally, the Veluna website (www.veluna.net) may have more information about conventions and gamedays in your area.

You're also really close to Pennsylvania (Keoland), so I would check out their Yahoo group and website as well. There might be quite a few players who would welcome an Ohio resident to their game group in order to get some Veluna mods in without going to a convention.

Isn't that near Warren Ohio? Greg Bartholomew runs LG game days at his comic/game store in warren. Ask on the Veluna-LW Yahoo group.
