Er, what Greyhawk Ruins Dispel Confusion link please?

The only DC link I can see is to vol 3 no 5 which works fine for me and has done since the weekend.

The LG main page in the little box that lists dispel confusions.

In all of the announcements has anyone heard if they still plan to adapt Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk ? It wasnt slated to be adapted until 2009 before all of this.

I can't cite my source but I recall mention that they're going to bring forward the release date for EttRoG.

From everything I've seen, there was no release date announced; the adventure was literally just published - I got my copy on Monday - and I was expecting it to take until early next year for them to get it adapted, based on the lead-time for RHoD and Demonweb Pits. If they can get it out before the end of 2007 I think that would be fantastic - though with some of the prequel Greyhawk Ruins modules not coming out until next year it might not help eveybody!

I've only skimmed it so far, but one issue which jumps out is that it appears that anyone who GM'd 'Ruins of Discovery' at GenCon Indy, or is going to do so at GenCon UK, SRDU and PAX will be unable to play the second half of it, which seems somewhat unfortunate given that this wasn't made clear at any point.

Obviously people did not go to their favorite church and pay for divinations :D

This entire series seems to have had problems since conception.

I would like to know when Parts three and four will be released so we can play and run the bloody thing.

This entire series seems to have had problems since conception.

I'm not going to be playing it at all. I have a dozen PCs and am not about to create another new one for this series when the campaign is dying. I created a new one for the low level adaptable already this year.

If they'd opened it up to 2nd levels, I have a choice of five PCs, but I don't need another new one to clutter the limited play opportunities that remain.

Well, this new one would come with play opportunities that you otherwise won't have, so it isn't exactly a zero sum game.

Q: Can you play parts one and two of CGR7-01 Ruins of Discovery at Gen Con, go home and run them, then play parts three and four later?

A: No, the zones are all interlinked. Thus, even if you only read parts one and two after playing them, you would still learn snippets of information about zones three and four. You can of course DM it after you have played all four parts or if you don’t wish to play parts three and four.

So as I understand this, if you want to bring this campaign to your region (or town) and you run it, you will never be able to play a Greyhawk Ruins character? Unless they plan on making another intro mod?
