The reports coming out of Winter Fantasy were that the rules were only going to be four pages long since it didn't need to be as tightly controlled as the standard campaign. Then it was stated that it was basically going to work like a DM Mark in other campaigns where you get a basic idea and write your own module. How long can that take? Ed |
| JosephKell09-07-06, 02:21 AM | Are you volunteering to write things? I think the Retirement Campaign is basically gonna be at Conventions only because you have to get all the retired PCs together. |

Or online. The Circle has said the high level campaign will be allowed for online play, precisely because it would otherwise be very hard to get a table together. |

So I would say home games would likely be best suited for HL games. Gomez |

| Reylance09-08-06, 01:44 PM | I'd suspect most areas of the country have groups of retired characters. They're from the active players who started playing near the beginning of the campaign. I'm unhappy that the high level campaign seems to have been dropped. Anyone could easily write these guidelines and bring them up for discussion. |
| TimRat09-09-06, 03:20 PM | the rules are only a few pages long as they were done around WF. They are hard at work trying to get this thing done but with having to adapt and do a bunch of other work and of course with SRM leaving having to deal with all that. we are striving to have it out asap. |
| duhtroll09-10-06, 10:32 AM | SRM left? Finally? Where? Why? Where's my party hat? Probably until SRM's replacement is hired. That would make sense. |
| qstor09-14-06, 10:20 AM | This was from the Mark of Heros Yahoo! Group. I'm sure its been repeated on the general RPGA board here. Mike >> This is the story as I know it, there are lots of read between the lines comments that could be made, I will try to avoid them, the sequence is probably inaccurate as well. 1) SRM was being asked to do more and more work. 2) SRM asked for a raise, was turned down. 3) He gave a 2 week notice of leaving (late July). 4) He was asked to complete various tasks. 5) The Gencon MoH special was canceled. 6) He was not at Gencon (to my knowledge). 7) Ian is looking for a new SRM (or so he stated at the members meeting). Mark BTW SRM leaving is only information of note to come out of the meeting. |
