How do you download a VTF scenario? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I just ordered VTF5-03.

When I download the file, I get a PDF file telling me these directions: go to www.living-greyhawk.com and go to the scenarios page. Find your scenario, right-click and save it. Your scenarios are password protected...etc.

www.living-greyhawk does not exist. This does (https://events.wizards.com/RPGAWeb/external/scenlist.asp), but doesn't seem to be what its refering to.

When I download the scenario from the members page, it is not locked or password protected. Nor is it a scenario, merely faulty directions on how to get the scenario.

What do I do?

E-mail your Triad, and send them the code that the RPGA gave you when you ordered the scenario.

You should get it in a few days.

This happens to everyone, by the way. The problem is known, and since the work-around is working fine, probably nothing will happen.

thanks for the info,

incidentally, I discovered where I'm really supposed to go to download the VTF's (in my region):

The VTF's are all also on the Dyvers Website. http://living-dyvers.net/

Yep, that is the correct route, although it does NOT include the ARs nor the passwords. Those you need to get from your local Triad by E-mailing them the details about your event (do not forget the event code!). Some of the newer adventures might no be available on the RPGA web-site either.

I would like to stress that you really should book all events even if you already have the scenarios and ARs and that you always should request the AR again from your triad. Booking database of the RPGA is used to determine popularity, which is used to decide whether to continue the campaign or not. Asking your triad about the ARs makes sure you get the newest version. Errata might not be issued all too often, but when it does, it tends to be important ;)
