| Vanadium01-26-07, 06:28 PM | I have a quick question here. I have been playing my wizard almost exclusively and as a result I am nearing level 4. After nearly every mod I've played, I've been scribing scrolls for various spells that could be handy to have access to, as per normal advice I've seen here on the board. However, I was wondering if I should be stopping this practice. Right now, I have 2-3 scrolls for most of the general utility spells I have in my spellbooks, and if I wanted to scribe I would probably wish to pick up some other utility spell and make scolls out of that. Basically, I feel I might have enough for the time being. Should I be saving my money now (and not craft) seeing as level 5 with its Craft Wondrous Item and Pearls of Power isn't too far off? On the other hand, I've not really spent that much for money (mostly been crafting and hoarding. Not so much the last, as I think I've only got about 2500 and little to no access for anything worthwhile). What do you recommend to do with my money? |

Craft every cent you don't need for mad money on hand. Seriously, there is no gold cost for crafting. Rather, it is a bank account that you get out at the full value you put in. You may lose time and xp, but you don't lose gold. It's capital. David |
