| Thanlok12-12-06, 10:35 PM | I have an AR that lets me buy a wand of shield and a wand of mage armour. I could find neither in the DMG. Does anyone know the price for these 2 wands? Thanks, Thanlok of Ket |

My low level arcane types would love to have a wand of mage armor, since they are both relying on scrolls for that spell. An hour duration will generally let you have the spell in effect ahead of time. Ed |

| zigspatty12-14-06, 12:23 AM | Can't have potions of mage armor or shield in LG: Potions of mage armor are core access in LG. They're listed on the DMG's Table 7-17 for a mere 50 gp - well under the 750 gp cap. Alas, you are quite correct about the potion of shield, a target: you spell, which is specifically forbidden since the days when it could grant +7 AC from one direction. Unless your caster is wearing armor, mage armor is far better. Patty |
